New York Supreme Court confirms FINRA arbitration award in favor of firm’s client. The law firm Imbesi Law P.C. received notification that the UI Appeal Board overturned a hearing award issued against the firm's client, a FINRA broker who subsequently filed a $3,700,000 FINRA arbitration claim (Appeal Board No. 581523)

CNN: Brittany Weiner files lawsuit on behalf of former child star against Kanye West. The lead singer of a 1970 tune that is sampled on a new Kanye West song has filed suit, alleging the rapper used the snippet without his permission. Ricky Spicer was 12 when he became the lead singer for a group called the Ponderosa Twins Plus One in 1969. A year later, they recorded "Bound," according to the suit.

Vincent Imbesi settles claim for over $390,000 on behalf of client of financial institution listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The specific details of the settlement are confidential.

FINRA broker and personal banker employed by JP Morgan Chase wins hearing. The law firm Imbesi Christensen received notification of an award issued in favor of the firm's client, a FINRA broker and personal banker, after a hearing was conducted. See A.L.J Case No. 013-19533.

After three-day hearing, Judge issues award in favor of Imbesi Law P.C.’s client. The law firm of Imbesi Law P.C. received notification that a FINRA Arbitration panel issued an award of $850,004.90 to the firm's clients after a hearing, for a FINRA arbitration claim filed in January of 2011.
